  • Preparing system definitions and limits;
    • Setting-up required pre-comm & commissioning procedures;
    • Setting-up and implementing the inspection and test record systems to cover the systems contained within the project;
    • Attending various vendor factory acceptance tests;
    • Reviewing vendor procedures and certification;
    • Setting-up and controlling the commissioning and vendor teams;
    • Coordinate with Engineering to review C&E matrix, control narratives etc…;
    • Coordinating with main contractors and sub-contractors to carry out system completion;
    • Hand on experience in calibrating the field instrument & panel equipment’s;
    • Worked with various control systems not limited to PCS, SIS, FGS & SSIV systems;
    • Hands on execution on field instrument, analyzers calibrations and commissioning;
    • Coordinate with the various authorities in the certification of the plan, equipment and systems;
    • Work with the operations group, in the final testing, commissioning and start-up of the facilities;
    • Ove see the formulation and content of the hand-over dossiers;
    • Maintain the as-built drawing during the pre-comm and commissioning stages of the project.
    • Purpose of the role:

      Co-ordinate control & manage the Pre-Comm and commissioning of all Instrument & Control system-based packages in the projects.

      Key deliverables:

      • ICSS system pre-com & commissioning - Complete the OTP’s for the marine and Topside ICSS system;
        • C&E matrix testing - Complete SAT & OTP’s with client & ABS;
        • Turret & Sub-sea system testing & commissioning - Pre-comm. & commissioning of all Turret and sub-sea systems per OTP;
        • Familiar with all Metering station commissioning activity - FAT & SAT procedures;
        • Filed instrument commissioning - Complete the PC ITR.
        • Critical Success Factor for the Job Role:

          Needs to have hand on execution in commissioning the ICSS system, metering stations & other control system-based packages.



      Qualification and Experience:

      • Minimum as Bachelor of Electronic /Instrument Engineering or Equivalent qualification with more than 15 to 20 years of construction & commissioning experience in the Oil & Gas projects;
        • Worked with ICSS system (ABB/YOKOGAWA/SIEMENS /EMERSON);
        • Familiar with field instrument calibration including analyzers;
        • Worked with all the process packages including field commissioning;
        • Familiar with all the vessel class regulation and codes.
